The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin automatically refills.
The only drawback I could find with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount for manual washing. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can manage and set up these through the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor the battery's life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering how well it performs otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
